I have a sweet tooth and I love chocolates! My friends and I share the same love for food and after learning of a dessert buffet themed restaurant just made our hearts jump in anticipation. We’re actually the type of diners who always seem to have room for dessert after a full meal so trying out dessert buffet sounds pretty exciting for us.
Gillian Gail Dessert Buffet is near our area and we didn’t have a hard time going to the place though the restaurant is located at the third floor of a condo building so it’s not really accessible/ readily seen when you’re out on the streets.
The place is quite small and can accommodate at least 30 diners (I think), I love the design because it looks very clean and dainty. We were lucky because we were the only diners when we arrived. We got the whole place to ourselves – yay! The food selection is okay. There was an array of cake slices, chocolates, ice cream, candies, cookies and Filipino desserts (such as palitaw, ice scramble, etc). Aside from desserts, they also have nachos and some dumplings available for the buffet. Drinks are also included in the buffet package – iced tea, iced/hot chocolate, tea or coffee. There aren’t a lot to choose from really but its value for money is great. There were some delicious desserts and some just okay. I really loved their Fried Palitaw, Sansrival and Banana Cake.
If you like eating a full meal, you can order Add-ons for a fair price. I ordered the Cream dory with herby pineapple sauce (Php 100) for my add-on since I was hungry. It was delicious! It was a night of unlimited desserts and I felt overwhelmed that I wasn’t able to try everything out. Haha.
